Relocation of CNC machines from Avon, Michigan to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.
Three CNC machines were moved from Avon, Michigan, to CAT's facilities in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. The project included the identification and disconnection of the equipment, loading maneuvers at origin and unloading maneuvers at destination. In addition, activities included positioning, alignment, leveling and anchoring of the machines, as well as connection to electrical and pneumatic installations. Integral support was provided for equipment start-up.

Shelby
Relocation of Equipment from Shelby, Michigan to Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua
Relocation of heat treatment equipment from Shelby, Michigan, USA to the customer's facility in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. The project included the identification and disconnection of the equipment at the origin site, followed by the loading, international transportation, and unloading maneuvers at the destination. In addition, the complete installation of the equipment at the new location was performed.

Belvidere
Relocation of Plastic Injection Molding Machines from Belvidere, Illinois to Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico.
Relocation of eight injection molding machines (IMM) with capacities ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 tons from Belvidere, Illinois, USA, to the customer's facility in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico. The project included the removal of the machines, specialized international transportation, temporary storage of the equipment for two months, and unloading maneuvers at destination. Finally, commissioning was carried out under the "turnkey" modality to ensure full operation.
Project execution time: 3 months + 2 months of temporary storage.
Leadec
Relocation of Ohio Line to Monterrey
Line relocation move with welding robots from Cleveland, Ohio.
Performed electrical and mechanical rigging, disconnection, identification and disassembly of 9 robots with controllers, bolster tables, work stations, Torit dust collector and ductwork. The movement included loading, transportation and importation to Monterrey, N.L.
Line assembly at Monterrey Plant:
Unloaded transports, center tracing, positioning and installation of 9 robots with chemical anchors, bolster tables, controllers and workstations. Two Gorbel cranes with special foundations were installed. Power and control panels communicated with floor level tray. Minimal support in mechanical tests and rotations.
